I ordered two of these for my twin daughters (8 years old) for Christmas. I charged them the night before for exactly 8 hours. Don’t forget to open the trunk and connect the wires. It was the best gift ever. They are a lot of fun. Unfortunately one stopped working. I feel like the tires are getting worn out quickly. The body is very strong. The seat bends back a little bit because it is a light plastic. But overall that’s okay. Assembly took a little time. I wish it had a removable battery so I could just take the battery inside to charge. For now (because it’s winter) I’m bringing two large heavy duty 50 lb cars inside to charge. In case you’re wondering, they do work on the grass. I would imagine it drains the battery a bit faster. When you are driving the cars. It is difficult to hear the other person talk. Because of the sound of the wheels on the road. Overall, I am very happy that we chose to purchase these go-karts.
Car works amazing for 20 minutes, after that the wheel started making a sound that got louder and louder, like when the wheel spins is making a loud clicking sound, My kid was so excited until the car stop working properly, can¡¯t believe only last like 45 min, Avoid at all cost
My boys love them! We bought 2 and both work very well! The steering components are very weak, otherwise great little karts! The battery lasts for about 30 minutes with my 7year old, 65 pound boy and 40 minutes with my 6 year old, 45 pound boy. With a bigger child I would expect only 15-20 minutes. So not great but very fun! Not sure how durable as they just got them for Christmas 2025.
This go kart was the perfect gift. I actually purchased three. They are sturdy, easy to assemble, have seat belts, a horn, music, they skid or drift and they are pretty fast. My grandsons are 6, 8 and 10. Perfect for every age. The boys played for about 40 minutes (cold out) and the batteries were still holding up just fine. I highly recommend these go karts. I even customized them with lights underneath.
This was a great Christmas purchase! It is good quality and even my 16 yr old can use it! Love the drifting and the controls for high and low speeds. It exceeded our expectations.
Cart is great but Garvee customer service was lousy, had a problem with cart in the first day and never got good customer service finally had to buy a second one to get resolved after about 3 weeks, so beware
I love it. Although is does squeak and the front tire came off. I couldn¡¯t find the original screw to put it back on and had to get another. But my baby girl loves it. Speed is nice she¡¯s 5 btw and don¡¯t like the fast mode
My son was over the moon when he got this go-kart ¡ª but the excitement lasted all of two days before it broke down. As disappointing as that was, the customer service experience somehow managed to be worse. Despite paying extra for the protection plan, it turned out to be completely useless. Instead of sending a replacement, the company made us jump through hoops ¡ª emailing multiple videos to ¡°prove¡± it was broken ¡ª and then made us wait five days for a response. When they finally replied, they said they¡¯d send a new motor¡ which would take four weeks to arrive. So now my son gets to stare at his broken Christmas present for a month. When the motor finally showed up, it came with zero packaging, half-sticking out of a ripped box, and no instructions whatsoever. Now I¡¯m stuck taking the whole kart apart, hoping I can figure out how to install the motor and reconnect everything correctly. In short, a total nightmare from start to finish. The go-kart might be fun while it works, but the quality and support are unacceptable. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
I bought two of these, one for a four-y/o and one for an 8 y/o! Huge hit! Grandma scored big brownie points! They are well-made, quite sturdy, and because the four year-old is a large boy, and the seat is adjustable, he fit perfectly. The same with the eight year-old. In fact, they got them at Christmas and the cousins were all over at the house and everybody got a turn on these including the 14-year-old who is quite tall but thin. He didn¡¯t fit very well and would certainly need another type of go kart for his age and size, but he still road it with ease. I really can¡¯t emphasize enough how the quality, price, speed and size just work! There were quite a few alternatives that cost more, but I made the right choice with these. The colors are vibrant. We bought red and green. The ¡°drift¡± capability is great! I don¡¯t know how long they¡¯ll last, but they ride them all the time and they¡¯re holding up well. They live where their streets are paved and there are sidewalks with some traffic. The kids are able to get out of the way of traffic without panicking and get back up on the sidewalk easily because of the tires. I am happy with this purchase.
My grandson loves his go cart. Assembly was not so bad, battery life is ok. I love the fact it comes with safety harness. The size is good for him and he has lots of fun for hours. Not a lot of adjustments you can make. Overall she enjoys it.

Great for when the 12v are no longer fast enough. Very easy to use. Easily assembled, even purchased 2 so there would not be fighting.
