This was my son¡¯s dream toy and he loved it so much. We live next to a concrete bike path and he drive it up and down the path in sheer joy. Unfortunately 3 weeks in it started to jerk as it drove. Then a few days later it wouldn¡¯t even turn on. Having been a mechanic in the Marines I did my best to figure out the problem, but couldn¡¯t. I reached out to Amazon and the contact for the manufacturer. I have never received a reply from the manufacturer after two months of trying. So three weeks is the life of this kart. What a waste of money.
Best investment ever
Update: Found the issue, it was not an overheating issue it had to do with the on/off switch which is located by the seat. The switch failed and I assume because it was depressed to hard several times. I troubleshot all the wiring on the kart and finally found it to be at this switch. So I removed this switch, I also moved the circuit board and mounted it higher so it can receive more airflow. Finally I then added 24V kobalt batteries as they charge must faster and were off to the races now! This kart was so fun, great for drifting, goes pretty fast, had a ton of fun with it until it apparently started overheating which fried the main circuit board. At least that’s what my assumption is. I purchased a replacement board and some other parts. When I took it apart, disconnected the main board and ran power to each of the motors directly, they spun just fine, so the only issue I can think of is the board overheated and fried. This seems to happen with a lot of these Ride on toys, these controllers can handle the heat and they place them right next to the motors and batteries which of course all produce a lot of heat. I’ll get my parts this weekend, hopefully it does the trick!
We absolutely love this car for our two year old daughter! It is so cute, the quality is definitely there. This was bought as a gift for her. It is super easy to use and drive her around.
Love it! Perfect size for my almost 1 year old grand son. I added cow spots since we were doing farm theme. It moves pretty fast. It said it had 2 speed modes but it went the same speed for both. That’s why I gave it 4 stars. Pretty easy to put togther. Great price for product. The seat belt kept him in his seat. Could be a little smaller.
The GarveeLife ride on train is super cute and fun to ride! The assembly was straightforward, but some of the screws were difficult to get into place. Once assembled, my husband did ride on it and check it out. It functioned just as described with the ability to change speed from low to high, go in forward motion or reverse, and to play music¡ªthere is also a usb port to play your own music. The train is easy to turn and has a working horn. Quality is really nice with a 12V battery and room for two riders. This would definitely make and enjoyable gift for a child!
My son loved it
Bought for a 2 year old. He could not steer it. When the remote is being used and the child touches the gas pedal it causes the remote to not work
Charges quickly, beautiful train toy that works indoors on low speed and outdoors on high speed. My 5 year old and 3 year old both love taking this train around in our yard. It gives them a good hour over small hills, grass, and soft dirt without tipping. This is great quality for the money and very much recommend!
