Basura no sirve
My 8 year old grandson loves this go kart! He is surprisingly good at drifting and counter-steering. When in drift mode, the kart has plenty of power to do full donuts and burnouts. He had a Jetson Volt X prior to this kart. It’s the exact same frame and body, however, this one is a little slower – but not by much. I was surprised at the electronics. The Jetson had an LED bar graph and percent number on the steering wheel for battery status. It didn’t work. This kart has an LED alphanumeric display that accurately shows battery voltage. It’s understated in the description, but it also comes with engine start and “vroom” on powerup. It has a USB port, and an SD card port, I’m assuming for the MP3 player. It also has bluetooth to pair with a phone or an iPod. The FM doesn’t seem to work. I was going to write the company and see why. There isn’t a lot of explanation in the users manual. The battery life from what I’ve seen is around 30-40 minutes. That’s in drift mode with a lot of burnouts and spinouts. The last issue with this kart – as with all of these drift karts – is the rear wheels. There is a thick band of plastic on the rear wheels, but within a few weeks, ours is ground down over half-way. I called Jetson to purchase spare wheels, but they said they don’t offer them! So, a very expensive go kart will be rendered useless within a few months because the rear tires failed. I am not sure (yet) if GarveeLife offers spare wheels, but I am about to find out and I will update this post accordingly. If you child likes to drift and do burnouts, I’d check for my update!

Worked great for first month and then the battery crashed and no longer works. We tried to look into battery replacement and it was more than the actual car.
Ordered came 4 days early. I finally had time to assembled it. Assembly was easy. My son enjoyed the sport and drift mode. My niece who is 14 yrs old tried it and had fun also. I purchased the warranty for any future trouble. The test was done at night and love the LED front lights and brake lights. The picture shows how I¡¯m charging the battery in the back.
Great, my son loves it he got it for his 6th birthday, because my 10 year old son got one last year for his birthday. It’s pretty fast I was surprised, might be a little fast for 6 year old especially if its their first one, but my 6 year old learned how to ride pretty early because of his older brother. Great go- kart and good price.
Good choice
Got this for my 8yr. Old grandson, he’s having a great time riding it. So far so good, hopefully it will last him a long time.

DO NOT BUY THIS! Very cool go cart but not worth buying. It¡¯s been less than three months since my son got this for Christmas and it no longer drives. He is in love with this go cart so for it to not work anymore is so disappointing. First the front metal suspension bar that holds the front wheels together started to sag, then the lights stopped working, then the gear shifter broke so it wouldn¡¯t reverse and then it stopped driving all together. You can turn the car on but it won¡¯t drive anymore. My 7 year old is sooo sad. For over $250 I would expect this to last longer. Update. Customer service has been awful. It was a Christmas present, so by the time my son received it, used it, and it broke, we missed the return window. We¡¯ve been emailing with them, they sent us a troubleshoot video for an older model, and I sent them a video back just like they requested. Once they had the video, they ghosted us. It¡¯s been several weeks now since we sent them the video, and nothing. Amazon says there is nothing they can do. So don¡¯t buy this product. It won¡¯t last, and the company will not help you when it fails!
I bought two of these for my 5 and 7 year olds and they absolutely love them! They got them for Christmas. The grey one has completely quit working and I don¡¯t know who to contact for replacement or troubleshooting seeing how it¡¯s only been 4 months. They are garage kept and only ride on pavement so haven¡¯t been damaged.
Battery will not charge, after one time and paying attention to ALL instructions on how to charge. Had some friends get one for a Christmas gift too and did the same thing!!

We bought this. It arrived on April 28. We . put it together that night. We then charged it till the next morning. My son took it out to the park to ride around and smoke started coming out of the steering wheel electronics for some reason. With battery operated toys we immediately decided to return the item due to safety precautions. The speed was slower than slower than listed on the description. My son did say that the drifting option was super cool, but that¡¯s not enough a reason for us to keep it.
